When are we leaving (aka About)?

Good day! I am Jessica, and I just moved to Chicago July of 2011 via an area of North Carolina affectionately referred to as the Triangle.  I will always consider NC my home, even though it is not where I was born and raised.  It is, however, where I started learning who I was as a person, and made some of the best friends a girl could possibly have.

In NC I performed improv with a few teams for a couple of years.  Here in Chicago, I have become a student again, and I am documenting my class journey, as I feel you always have a lot to learn in life, and I want to share my experiences with you.  You, who maybe wants to do something fun and exciting but isn’t sure if you should.  Please do it.  Share it with the world.

So when are we going to Dollywood?

I don’t know.  Dollywood is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for quite some time, not unlike Graceland.  Both seems to whimsical and awesome to me.  They seem like places I should be.  A lot.  So I have a plan to go to both at some point in time, but I don’t know when we’re going.  Just keep a bag by your door like pregnant ladies do when they know they’re going to have the baby soon.  When we’re about to go, I’ll shout “HONEY…IT’S COMING!” and you grab your bag and meet me at the Fairgrounds (that’s right, first stop is good ol’ Raleigh).  We’ll leave from there.

Until then, we’ll likely go on short but awesome adventures together that don’t require much more than your computer and the occasional trip to the grocery store or farmer’s market.

But one day…we’re going to Dollywood.
